"One Hundred Dollars Reward," Telegraph and Texas Register, July 22, 1837

Summary: An ad offering a reward for two runaways. Gave vague descriptions of them and requested their return to Edward Waller on Oyster Creek.


RUNAWAY from the subscriber in March last, two African Negro men, about 5 feet 8 or 10 inches high, aged from twenty to twenty-five years, one not so large as the other, both of middlesize. Any person delivering the said negroes to Edward Waller living on Oyster creek, near Brazoria, shall be paid the above reward.
