GALVESTON Nov. 15th. 1843.

The Undersigned, Her Britannic Majesty's Charge' d' Affaires to the Republic of Texas has the honor to forward to Mr. Jones two copies of an Act passed during the last session of Parliament, intituled

"An Act for carrying into effect the treaty between Her Majesty "and the Republic of Texas for the suppression of the African Slave "Trade."

11th. April 1843.
