Summary: James Cochran advertised that he was hiring out a slave to the highest bidder for one year.


WILL be hired to the highest bidder, in the town of San Felipe, on the 1st day of January next, the negro man JIM, belonging to Esther Jackson, for the term of twelve months. Terms made known on the day of hiring.
