Summary: Ashbel Smith advertised that he would offer for sale three slaves and other property of the late Chauncey Goodrich on the upcoming Saturday.


BY virtue of a decree of the honorable court of Probate for Harrisburg county, I shall expose at public sale, to the highest bidder, on Saturday the 28th inst., in the city of Houston, between 11 and 3 o'clock, the perishable property of Dr. Chauncey Goodrich deceased; comprising Three Negro Slaves and such othor personal property as may be in my possession.
