Summary: Described a bill to allow Americans who ended up in Texas as a result of border negotiations to move back to the U.S. with their slaves and citizenship intact.


A bill is before the Congress of the United States, to allow persons who, when the boundary line was established between Texas and the United States, were unexpectedly found within the limits of Texas, to remove with their slave and other property to the United States, and to retain the privileges of citizens of that Republic.
