William Hunter to the Department of Bexe, March 24, 1833
Summary: Hunter agreed to sign over his rights to a mulatto slave for $630 to James Perry. Perry received the slave for life and could pass him on to his heirs.

Jurisdiction of Austin
For and in Consideration of the sum of Six hundred and Thirty Dollars to me in hand paid by James F. Perry the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged I, William W Hunter have this day bargained and sold transferd and delivered and do by these presents bargain and sell transfer and deliver unto the said Perry his heirs and assigns all my right title interest and Claim in and to a certain Mulatto Man a slave for life named Turner aged Twenty One years to have and to hold to him said Perry--his heirs and assigns forever, hereby bringing myself my executors & Administrators to warrant and forever defend the title to said Perry his heirs and assigns against all claims whatsoever
